So here I am back at RA training whoopdie fucking doo. As you can tell I as super jazzed about the whole experience. I believe the word I should use for this is...apathy I simply do not care, I do not want to be here, I detest it actually and I have no motivation to be of any help or service to my fellow RA's this semester (dear god I hope I move out half way)
My parents helped me move in yesterday and they knew I wasn't happy, they even said they knew it so my question is how, as a parent, can you live with yourself knowing you have just left your child in a miserable state in a place where they don't want to be? My guess is money because me being here is cheaper for them however I still do not believe this is fair.
But on the brighter side I found an even cheaper apartment for a 6 month lease (which is perfect) and is even closer to campus. But this is not going to make the 2 FUCKING WEEK TRAINING any better or any less boring or painful.
Hoping I survive the next two weeks without dying of sheer boredom, lack or motivation or complete apathy.

The Apartment story
Ok so time to bitch...
I am currently an RA and I hate my job. It is stressful for so many reasons, every move you make is constantly being watched you cant even leave the building after 10pm without having to sign in and out and if the max number of RA's have already left your SOL regardless of your plans. Next is all the programs you have to plan, noticeboards you have to make and door tags because it's not like I have homework. But my personal favorite is duty nights where at any hour of the night or morning you can be woken up to deal with the stupidity of the human race that lives in your shitty ass dorm but it gets better remember the sign out list I mentioned well if you arent on the list they know you are in the building so if you are on say the 2nd floor and the incident of stupidity is on the 1st floor and say the RA on duty is on the 3rd floor guess who they are going to get first...that's right the RA on the 2nd floor who isnt on duty!Makes sense right? WRONG I need sleep too.
But some times the incidents arent stupidity at its finest some times its serious and you have someone who is trying to take their own life and sometimes they are your friends and sometimes its hard to get over something like that, it's something you carry with you.
Now you look at all of this and think wait arent you suppose to be a student doing student like things? Why yes, yes I am...does the office of residence life know this? of course not. All of these things interfere with my studies my social life mental/emotional health and sleep. So all together not a good thing.
So what is the up side to this you might ask? Well I get a free room and a free meal plan so I am basically going to college for $6000 a year instead of $17000 and because of that price break my parents are paying for everything.
But as you might have guessed given the bitching and the title of this post I want an apartment a single apartment. I found on that is huge for one person and is 417 a month plus electric and water if I conserve electricity and water and be a hippie I wont break $500 a month which I can do so for a 9 and a half month lease we are looking around $4750 which isnt bad for one person if you think about it, it is actually about the same as what my boyfriend is paying for his 4 person apartment and he doesn't have as big a space relatively speaking. Now after my last paycheck from my summer job I will have about 2000 in the bank, if I work all semester and get a job 2nd semester I think I will be just fine and might not even need a loan but I could always take out $1000 just to cover some things and pay it back during the year.
But my parents dont like the idea at all

O hey Blog...how you've been?
So it hasnt been a while or anything since I've been here...
My life so far in a nut shell, I'm about to be a Junior in
College (WHAT!?) how did that happen???? I have an amazing boyfriend that I
hope will become more in a few more years (YAY) and my parents are just
as unpredictable and crazy as always.
My current goal is to get through 1st semester with enough money
for an apartment 2nd semester with a small loan, I have reached a point where I
want to get out and move on and start being on my own and of course this a sore
point with the rents but at this point I don't particularly care. I need to do
this, for me and I am going to regardless of what they say but I do
think I'll need more money lol.
Why is green paper with a dead guys face on in running the world?
More importantly why can't I ever get enough?
So I am gonna try this whole blogging thing again see what
happens, not that it really matters I think only one person ever read this
page...ever but it's more for me than anyone else.
